Formerly, Dr. Maier was a visiting international professor for Rochester Institute of Technology, teaching master’s degree programs in Service Leadership and Innovation in New York, Dubai, Kosovo, and the Dominican Republic. He has delivered numerous international public speaking engagements, performed education-based integrated learning-consultation and executive leadership development programs for Hong Kong Polytechnic University, Hong Kong; Ministry of Education, Kosovo; Washington State University-Phuket, Thailand; UNWTO-Madrid, Spain; and China Tourism annual symposiums. His academic research interests center on hospitality and tourism leadership, multigenerational workforce issues, and the sacredness of hospitality.
